Thanks so much for joining our self service platform. You can now place and modify orders, rate temps, know who's coming to your office, check on status, confirm the temps, message temps through the dashboard, and more.
Here are some common questions and answers:
Q) What is this new platform/dashboard?
A) Adirondack Staffing has decided to give back the control to our Clients and Candidates, creating more independence to serve each other. You can now place and modify orders, rate temps, see who's coming to your office, check on order status', confirm the temps, message temps through the dashboard, make changes, etc.
Q) Why am I being asked to provide payment information in the dashboard?
A) Invoices will be automatically processed at the close of each week, no later than the following Monday. You will have until 5pm on Friday to approve them.
Q) I don't want to provide payment information. What now?
A) You can definitely proceed using the platform and we will manually activate your account. You will be charged an additional $.50 (cents) per hour, on the hours a temp serves your office, as an administrative fee, since we will have to process your invoices manually.
Q) What if I forget to approve an invoice?
A) In the event that an invoice is inaccurate, you will be processed a refund or a credit, whichever you choose.
Q) How do I request a temp?
A) You simply click "place an order" and follow the simple steps, you can increase the rate you are offering, have a catchy headline to draw attention, and more.
Q) Why does it say the temp Hygienist rate is $52 per hour?
A) The minimum temp Hygienist rate is $45 an hour to the temp and $7 an hour to the agency. $52 is the combined amount.
Q) Will permanent placements be invoiced through the app? Will they be invoiced automatically?
A) Permanent placements will still be invoiced, Net 30, through QB via email.
Fun Facts
1) If you typically give checks at the end of a shift, they can be paid through the platform at no additional cost. Our temps have their banking information attached and will receive within a few days of invoice processing. Our third party payment processor "Stripe" has the ability to generate 1099's on your behalf at the conclusion of the year for the temps and your accountants.

3) You can rate any temp that comes to your office. Great ratings will give these temps first dibs on shifts with your office. Poor ratings will hide any future shifts from poorly rated temps. Fully confidential.
Candidate (Temp) Q & A

Q) What is this new platform/dashboard?
A) Adirondack Staffing has decided to give back the control to our Clients and Candidates, creating more independence to serve your community. Need to make a change? Simply message the office through the platform and cancel the placement. Agency will be notified.
Q) Why am I being asked to provide payment information in the dashboard?
A) You can get paid through the platform for any client that typically pays via check/1099, if client has opted in.
Q) What if I forget to approve a timesheet?
A) We will reach out to you to confirm the hours worked.
Q) I don't want to provide payment information. What now?
A) You can definitely proceed using the platform and you will not be paid through it.
Q) Is there a change in how I am paid?
A) ABSOLUTELEY NO CHANGES as to how you will be paid. You will still be provided the information on how you will be paid, prior to choosing the shift. Offices may pay you through their payroll, you may be paid through agency payroll, you may be given a check at end of shift, you may be paid through the platform. *Always remember that any office that pays you outside of payroll, will most likely issue you a 1099 at the conclusion of any given calendar year.
Q) Are we still using the "OLD" App? YES! FOR NOW. All shifts are posted in the "StaffUp" app. Best place to go for shifts as we transition into using the new platform.
Time Sheets: If you are linked to the position on the new platform, you must use the timesheet function in the new platform. Simply "check in" and "check out". It will allow you to modify it, if needed.
Please make sure to read in the shift description to see how you will get paid for temp shifts, so that you know how to prepare:
Client Payroll: I highly recommend bringing a Voided check and getting Direct Deposit. (no one likes lost checks)
ADK Staffing Payroll: You will need to fill out my "New Hire Packet" via Docusign and send a picture of a voided check and the direct deposit form with a physical signature on it.
1099 Paid on Platform: You will need to link your bank on the Platform. The first pay will be 7 days after the close of the current week, after that only a couple of days after the close of the week. You must clock in and out using the platform. No more lost checks form offices.
1099 Paid Check with Office: You will get paid either day of or within a couple of weeks from the office that you temp at.
